The New Mexico Human Services
Department is opening the SCI waiting list with restrictions. The Centers for
Medicare and Medicaid Services has approved a patient-centered medical home
pilot project to be delivered through the University of New Mexico's SCI
program. The first 5,000 individuals on the SCI waiting list who reside in one
of the four counties served by UNM's network will be sent an UNM SCI
eligibility packet. The four counties are Bernalillo, Sandoval, Torrance and
Valencia.
ISD will contact waiting list members within the identified counties according
to their placement on the waiting list. HSD plans to enroll approximately 5,000
individuals in the UNM SCI program. The Northern SCI ISD unit will process all
applications submitted for the project. Individuals on the waiting list who are
determined to be eligible for the UNM SCI pilot program will be enrolled
through Molina Healthcare of New Mexico. For more information, contact Molina
at 1-866-403-3018 or (505) 348-1578, or click on the links below.
