The SCI program has currently reached its maximum enrollment. All individual
and employer group applications are being placed on the waiting list. Effective
September 1, 2010, new employees joining existing SCI employer groups will no
longer be exempt from the waiting list. All such applications will be placed on
the employer group waiting list. Individual applicants are notified by the
Income Support Division unit when their application has been placed on the
waiting list. Employer groups are notified by the Insure New Mexico group
enrollment center when they have been placed on the waiting list.

State Coverage Insurance (SCI)

is designed for working New Mexico residents, 19-64 years of age with household
incomes up to 200% of the
Federal Income Guidelines including small employers and non-profits
with 50 or fewer eligible employees and self-employed individuals.

Applicants are responsible for attaching all of the required documentation
requested on the application in
