Employer Group Requirements for State Coverage Insurance (SCI)
|
- Small employer group of 50 or fewer eligible
employees;
- Employer cannot have voluntarily cancelled group insurance
in the last 12 months;
- Must be a licensed business entity in the State of New Mexico and provide proof
of employer group status through a completed and signed Employer Group Information Sheet
and SUTA or Census (payroll ledger).

Group Participation Requirements

- Groups with 1-9 SCI eligible employees
75% of all eligible SCI employees must enroll in the plan.
- Groups with 10+ SCI eligible employees
50% of all eligible SCI employees must enroll the plan.
